BING & GRONDAHL Polar Bear Small

This polar bear figurine is from Bing & Grondahl, a historic Danish porcelain manufacturer. Bing & Grondahl merged with Royal Copenhagen in 1987, but this piece dates from 1970-1982, before the merger. The designer is believed to be Svend Jespersen.

The body is almost pure white, with a pale blue from the nose to the eyes, and beige legs and belly. The unevenness of the body and the texture of the fur are also well expressed.

There are some small scratches and light stains on the soles of the feet, but they are not noticeable and no major damage is seen.
