This is the perfect guidebook to the Big Boy, one of the world's largest steam locomotives, once built by the Union Pacific Railroad in the United States. It provides detailed explanations of the Big Boy, from its design to its engine, operation, and postwar modifications, with a mix of black-and-white photographs and diagrams. This is a fairly well-known book, but the photographs are also excellent. Published in 1972.
There is some rubbing and slight discoloration on the front and back covers, but there is no significant damage within the pages and the book is in relatively good condition.
