This light is made by attaching a socket and cord to an old bicycle light. It was originally an oil lamp and comes with a wick holder. It dates back to the Taisho to early Showa period. There are glass windows on both sides, green on the right and red on the left, just like on ships and airplanes. The red window can be opened or closed.
There is some rust and tarnish, but it's not severely damaged. The cord is just under 3 meters long and has an ON/OFF switch. The bulb size is E12. To replace it, remove the hook on the right side and open the unit. The socket is simply inserted into the hole in the bottom, so it can be easily removed.
