This light is made by attaching a socket and cord to an old bicycle light. The body is made of chocolate-colored tin. There is glass inlaid into the sides, but just like on ships and airplanes, the right side is green and the left side is red.
It was originally attached to the handlebars of a bicycle and is a fairly old candle-type item, probably dating from the Taisho to early Showa period .
Please note that there may be some discoloration and rust, and that due to its structure it cannot be placed upside down. A string is included so it can also be used by hanging it.
The cord is a little over 4m long and has an on/off switch. The socket is attached to a clip at the bottom. The bulb size is E12. You can change it by opening the front door.
