It's a little difficult to explain in words, but it's a large glass container that is basically square with two chamfered corners, giving it an unusual shape.
The glass is thick and there are no noticeable bubbles or wrinkles, but there are some small irregularities. The aluminum lid has some stains that cannot be removed and some unevenness.
There is a small chip in the opening and there is some cloudiness on the sides that just can't be removed, which is reflected in the price, but I don't think the cloudiness will be too noticeable if you store something in it.
It can be used to store bagged seasonings, coffee beans, scraps, or as a base for a vase or terrarium. It can also be placed sideways as shown in the second photo.
