Old Safari Hut

This safari hat is made from woven bamboo and rattan. It has a wide, shallow brim. The base is made from woven bamboo, and the outside is covered with extremely thin woven rattan, creating a double-layered structure. This makes it a little thick, but this probably has the added benefit of preventing it from getting stuffy.

There are some broken fibers and one eyelet is missing. The brim is slightly distorted, but there is no odor and no serious damage.

The country and age are unknown, but it is likely from Europe or the US. The head circumference is small, about 54cm, so it may not be suitable for everyone, but it is a beautiful piece of handcrafted work, so it is recommended as a display piece .
