Ball Jars have been making food storage jars since 1884 and are now loved around the world. Due to their long history, Ball has produced a variety of models, but this product is part of the Standard Jar series, which was produced from 1896 to 1912.

This mason jar, which is over 100 years old, does not have a screw-on lid; instead, it has a metal disc placed over the opening, around which wax is poured and allowed to harden to form the lid.

Unfortunately, the lid is no longer available, so it cannot be used to store food, but since there are no screw threads on the top, it has a great design and is particularly recommended for use as a vase.

We have multiple items in stock, but there may be slight differences in the logo design and the way the air bubbles are arranged, so please look at the photos before making your selection.

There is not much difference in condition, but please note that there are some small scratches and small chips around the mouth.
