Ball Jar has been making food storage jars since 1884 and is now loved around the world. Because of their long history, they have produced many different models, but this product is part of their Perfect Mason series.
Perfect Mason was manufactured for a long period from 1910 to 1962, but the logo indicates that this jar was manufactured between 1922 and 1933. Furthermore, the vertical embossed lines on the side, known as grip lines, suggest that it was manufactured between 1930 and 1933. Given its short production period, few examples remain, making it a fairly rare jar.
This glass bottle is nearly 100 years old, but is in very good condition, with only small scratches on the sides and bottom. The lid has some tarnish, but the white rust has been polished off.
The capacity is approximately 890ml up to the line under the lid. It can be used as a small item holder, a candle holder, a decorative display with dried flowers, or, for those with experience, a storage container for packaged snacks and seasonings. You can also replace the lid with a clean one and use it to store coffee beans, tea leaves, and other items. The opening is a regular mouth size.
