Ball Mason Jar 64oz 1896-1910

Ball Jar has been making food storage jars since 1884 and is now loved around the world . Due to their long history, many models have been produced, but this is a very old product that was manufactured from 1896 to 1910.

Jars from this era have a distinctive bullet-like shape with a sloping shoulder from the mouth to the body. They are aqua blue in color and have bubbles, wrinkles, and ripples that give them the charm of an older era.

There are some scratches on the glass surface and some cloudiness on the inner wall that cannot be removed, but no significant scratches or chips are visible. The lid is a Ball zinc cap, and there is some white rust, but it has been polished off to some extent.

The cool and tasteful glass makes it perfect for displaying dried produce, as a vase, or as a small item holder or to hold an illumination light. For experienced customers, we also offer a beautiful replacement lid, making it ideal for storing rice, cereal, short pasta, pet food, and more. The opening is the same size as the current Regular Mouth.
