Ball Mason Jar 32oz 1898-1910

Ball jars have been making storage jars since 1884 and are now loved around the world. Because of their long history, many different models have been produced, but this particular jar is an older model that was manufactured between 1898 and 1910.

This model does not have a series name, but it features a bullet-like shape and a muted aqua blue glass. Compared to the Perfect Mason series that came later, this one has a slightly greener hue. The glass has a unique texture, with bubbles and distortions.

In terms of condition, there are small scratches, a slight cloudiness around the opening, and some solid residue inside the lid, but the inside and outside have been thoroughly cleaned and the lid has been polished to some extent.

It can be used as a small item holder, a vase, or to store candles, or you can replace the lid and use it to store sweets, coffee beans, etc. The opening is the size of a regular mouth.
