Ball Jar, an American company that has been making storage jars since 1884 and is now loved around the world, is part of the Jelly Glass series, which was produced from 1920 to 1960.

Jelly glasses are a type of mason jar, but unlike regular mason jars, their lids are not screw-on, but simply snap on. Originally, jelly glasses were not sealed with a lid, but were filled with jam or other liquid, and then melted wax was poured over them to harden and seal.

This item has been stored in its box for a long time, and is in excellent condition with the lid still retaining a good amount of its plating. There is no noticeable damage to the glass itself .

Since the lid is not airtight, it is not suitable for storing food, but it can be used to organize and store small items such as cotton swabs, toothpicks, bagged sweets, cotton balls, etc.
