Ball Jar, an American company that has been making storage jars since its founding in 1884 and is now loved around the world, is part of the Jelly Glass series, which was produced from 1920 to 1960.

Jelly glasses are a type of mason jar, but unlike regular mason jars, their lids don't screw on, but simply snap on. Originally, jelly glasses were not sealed with a lid, but were filled with jam or other liquid, and then wax was poured in to harden and seal.

This item has been stored in its original box for a long time, and although the lid is tarnished, there is no noticeable damage to the glass of the main body.

Since the lid is not airtight, it is not suitable for storing food, but it can be used to store accessories, cotton balls, and bagged sweets, or it can be used as a flower vase or candle vase.
