Ball Glass Top Closures (Replacement lid / Regular mouth)

Most mason jar lids today are either a thin metal disc that fastens with a ring, or a glass lid that is held down with wire, but there used to be a type of lid that fastened the glass lid with a metal ring.

This product has a glass disc that closes the jar's mouth and a metal ring that secures it in place. Presto is a well-known brand for this type of lid, but we recently received some dead stock from Ball.

Glass does not rust, making it easy to use for storing food. This product also comes with a rubber gasket, so you can rest assured that it is airtight.

This is perfect for anyone looking to use vintage mason jars for food storage. The jars shown in the first and second photos are not included.

About the caliber
The size is for a regular mouth, so it can be used with mason jars of other brands than Ball as long as they are the size of a regular US mouth. If you have any concerns about the size, please feel free to ask us.
