Ball Eclipse Jar 32oz 1923-1933

Ball jars have been making food storage jars since 1884 and are loved around the world. Because of their long history, many models have been produced, but this jar is part of the Eclipse series, which was produced from 1922 to 1952.

The lid is a glass disc secured by a wire, the opening is wide-mouth sized, and the Ball logo on the front indicates that it was manufactured between 1923 and 1933.

The inside and outside have been thoroughly cleaned, and the wire has been polished to remove some of the rust, but there are some small scratches on the glass surface. There is also a chip in part of the lid, which has created a small gap between it and the main body, so the price has been reduced.

Although it is not suitable for storing food, you can use it to store bagged sweets or seasonings, or to display dried foods or seashells, and it can be used in a variety of ways depending on your imagination.
