Atlas Mason Jar 32oz 1930s-1940s

This square-shaped Atlas mason jar is believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. It doesn't have a series name like Strong Shoulder or EZ Seal, and looks ordinary, but the square shape is quite rare, and we have rarely seen them in our store.

The glass is old and has some distortion and vertical wrinkles. There are few scratches due to use, but the inside of the glass is cloudy and I just can't get rid of it.

The lid is a zinc cap with milk glass fitted on the inside, and although there was a little white rust, it has been polished off and the rust will not fall off in pieces.

The cloudy glass may be a concern for many customers, but it is not something that will stain or dissolve, so I personally think it would be fun to use it to store coffee beans, tea leaves, seasonings, sweets, etc. If you replace the lid with a clean one, the range of uses will expand.
