Have you ever seen a chair with a small desk on one side in a school scene in an American movie? It's that. It's rare to see it in a Japanese school, but it was manufactured by Kotobuki (probably now Kotobuki Seating) under license from AMERICAN SEATING CO.
The chair is made of plywood with iron legs, but there were some loose or splintered wood layers, so we sanded them down to make them even. The iron legs were rusty, so we polished them and painted them black. While they're still not in near-new condition, we've put a lot of effort into making them comfortable to use, so we hope they'll be cherished and passed down to future generations. Incidentally, they're stackable.
