American Optical Safety Goggles (with case) 1920s-1930s

These are American Optical sunglasses with mesh guards. They're fairly old, dating from the 1920s or 1930s, and come with a case. The temples are adjustable, and the guards can be folded toward the nose pads, while the temples can be folded toward the front .

The mesh part is not made of metal, but is probably celluloid with small holes. The guard, bridge, and inside of the rim are padded with leather.

There are some small chips and scratches on the lenses, but they are not severely damaged. The leather part has no major scratches or discoloration, so considering its age, it can be said to be in good condition.

The fit is a little small, and I (who have a slightly larger face) found it a little tight. I recommend trying it on in the store if possible.
