This time recorder is from Amano, a company that has been making time recorders since the early Showa period. It probably dates back to the 1960s, when the company was called Amano Special Machinery.

A square window in the top has a cloth soaked in ink stretched underneath, and a stamp set underneath. When you lower the lever on the right side, the hammer on top descends and stamps. The knobs on the top left and right of the dial slide the ink cloth.

The watch is hand-wound and has an internal winding mechanism. The round knob on the right is for setting the time, and the knob on the left rotates the gears. The mainspring is stiff, so I haven't wound it, but if I turn the left knob a little and move the right time setting, the watch starts to work. It works accurately, but it seems to stop at 12 o'clock, which I didn't quite understand.

There are scratches, stains, and some rust on the bottom, but the dial is in good condition. Due to the nature of the product, it cannot be shipped together with fragile items.
