Aladdin stove model 38 (1975)

This is an Aladdin stove from 1975, the first in the 38 series. It comes with an earthquake-resistant fire extinguishing device and guard, and most of the parts for this series are made in Japan. It is built with improved safety and quality.

The guard and bottom tray are removed in some photos, but they are included. The cover for the earthquake-resistant fire extinguisher is not included.

Although it has been maintained and cleaned, there are some stains that cannot be removed, such as yellowing around the fuel filler cap and on the label. There are also small chips on the top and small cracks on the side, but no serious damage.

There is still some wick remaining, and I don't think I'll use it all up this season. The inner flame plate and the outer casing of the wick have been carefully polished. The flame is currently stable.

How to use: Raise the lever to lift the outer tube.

Turn the knob clockwise to raise the wick.

Light the wick in 2 or 3 places and once the flame has gone around once, close the outer tube.

If the flame is red, turn the knob until it turns blue.

When the earthquake-resistant fire extinguishing device is activated, the lever on the side rises and the outer cylinder is locked to prevent it from lifting up. To release the lock, turn the knob clockwise and lower the lever on the side.
