Aladdin Stanley Thermos Vacuum Bottle, 950ml

Stanley's history began in 1913 with the invention of a stainless steel vacuum insulated bottle by William Stanley Jr. The company went through many twists and turns, but in 1965 it was acquired by Aladdin, a company also known for its stoves. Even back then, it boasted durability and excellent heat and cold retention.

By the way, Stanley's manufacturing base was moved to China in 2002, but until then it was in Nashville, Tennessee. There have been no major changes in design, but the American-made Stanley is heavier than the current model, so there may also be differences in the internal construction.

The key to use is preheating and precooling. It takes a little time, but preheating by adding hot water before adding hot drinks. Precooling by adding cold water before adding cold drinks will extend the hot/cold retention time (we also recommend adding ice for cold drinks).

This time we have one made in the 1960s and two made in the 1970s, with the 1960s being slightly lighter in color. The difference in exterior condition is reflected in the price, but the interiors are all in good condition.
