This vessel, with its distinctive narrowed mouth, is likely an oil bottle used to store oil for lamps.
The entire surface is covered in crazing, and the color is not gray but a very light reddish hue. There are scraping marks on the side and a dent in one place, but I wonder if this is an intentional design.
Although there is some damage due to age, such as chips and stains on the opening and blackening on the bottom, there is no severe damage and there are no leaks.
