Anonymous hard ceramic dessert plate, φ16.5cm

This ironstone (hard ceramic) dessert plate has an embossed magatama-like pattern on the edge. It is shallow and nearly flat, and is somewhere between a small and medium-sized plate.

It appears to be from around the 1950s, and although there is no manufacturer's name, it was delivered in unused condition. There are some dents and grain patterns from the manufacturing process, as well as some small scratches and flea marks from storage, but these are not noticeable.

The color is off-white, almost pure white. The crazing is quite fine, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes over time.

Points to note
Because it is water-absorbent, avoid soaking it in water for a long time, and make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing before storing it. Also, do not use it in a microwave oven.
