Kyoto Tin Shop Yazaemon, washing old tin cups.

The predecessor of Nakamura Yajiro, who founded Benrido, a long-established Kyoto store famous for its postcards, was a tinsmith who also had clients at the Imperial Palace, and generations of his family had taken the name Yazaemon.
As the times changed from the end of the Edo period to the beginning of the Meiji era, work gradually decreased, which seems to have been the trigger for starting Benrido. This product is a beautiful piece of handiwork made by the previous owner, Yazaemon, during that time. It is a bowl with a crisp design.
