My cold, which was almost gone, is still stubborn, and I haven't been able to speak as well as I would like since this morning. This may have surprised customers who came to see me for the first time, but I'm sure I'll be fine tomorrow.
Today I have two American pencil sharpeners. The blade is in good condition and is of course usable.

On the left is a Boston pencil sharpener, a company with a long history. The production line has now been moved to China, and many fans lament the decline in quality, but this product is believed to date back to around the 1950s.

On the right is a small pencil sharpener with a celluloid cover from Apsco (Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co.). The Giant series was born in the 1920s, but this one probably dates back to the 1940s or 1950s.
