The heat in the mornings and evenings has eased slightly, and we can once again see sea lice fleeing from the rocks along the Kyu-Nakagawa River. Autumn is slowly approaching. Today I uploaded two arm lamps.
This lamp is from the 1930s or 1940s, manufactured by Micron Machine Corp. in the United States. The arm is extendable, and the angle can be adjusted at the base of the shade. Its muted finish doesn't overpower the light, so it's easy to match with other interior décor.

Although it's fixed to a table in the photo, it was originally a wall-mounted light. There's no manufacturer information, but it was probably made in Japan around the 1970s. I think it's for commercial use, but its solid construction and clean coloring make me think it might be for medical use.
