The temperature seemed to have risen today, and even though Sagawa-san was wearing short sleeves, it was still a bit chilly inside the store.
I personally like these dishes, but they are not very popular in the store.
This stone plate features a horse's eye design painted in dull gosu. It's a rather dull color combination, but it's a plate you'll want to use often to serve dishes like simmered dishes.

Ige plates are stamped plates with jagged edges and an iron glaze. They are versatile enough to pair with non-Japanese dishes like pasta, curry, and yakisoba, but they aren't very popular. They're inexpensive and microwave-safe, so we use them quite frequently at home, but I'd like more people to know how easy they are to use.
