Wooden box and milk bottle

I uploaded a milk bottle from the glass manufacturer Hazel Atlas and a wooden box from Peters Cartridge, which manufactured gunpowder and ammunition. I imagine both are old items from the 1930s or 1940s.

The milk bottle has embossed and sandblasted lettering. People tend to avoid these bottles because they are often scratched or cloudy, but the bottle has a very pale pinkish color, which suggests that the glass contains manganese oxide, which may have caused the discoloration due to exposure to ultraviolet light.

PETERS CARTRIDGE wooden box
The wooden box has some cracks and chips, so it's not in the best condition, but the corners are joined together and it's in very good condition. It's just the right size to fit an LP record, and it has a carved handle, so it's very easy to use.
