Today we have two types of balls. Both are balls used in ball games where players compete for points by throwing or rolling the ball towards a target.
The smaller ball is a petanque ball, made of steel with distinctive stripes. The larger ball is a lawn bowls ball, asymmetrical and squashed, made of Bakelite.
Both are old-fashioned items with a rich flavor, so if you like round things, you should definitely try them.
