Oil lamp and pocket watch

We will be closed for eight days from July 30th (Tue) to August 6th (Tue). Please be careful.

Today I'll talk about two completely unrelated things.

Aladdin Oil Lamp No. 23
Aladdin Oil Lamp No. 23
First up is the Aladdin oil lamp. It's a minor design, but I think it's a really nice one.

It's a little unique, and by combining it with a mantle, it can produce a lot of light. However, unlike the Coleman lantern, you don't need to apply a lot of pressure. It's in good condition.

ANGLO-CELTIC pocket watch
This pocket watch was made by the Anglo-Celtic Watch Co., a manufacturer in which Smiths and Ingersoll had investments. It was a service watch that was loaned to customers as a replacement during repairs.

Unfortunately, it is slow, so I hope that you will either have it repaired, or enjoy carrying it around like an accessory, adjusting the time from time to time.
