This hippopotamus figurine is probably sodalite, with a more subdued blue hue than lapis lazuli. It's small enough to display anywhere, and can also be carried around as a talisman.

This glass bird by Oiva Toikka, a leading Finnish designer, is likely a Whip-Poor-Will bird, due to its plump body and hunched neck. It is in excellent condition with minimal damage.
