The NIDD DODO BMX was designed by Kotaro Tanaka, a professional rider who is still active today. It's a complete flatland bike equipped with gyro brakes, Nankai Free Coaster hubs, and Dia Compe brakes, and its understated brown color is incredibly cool.
However, the gear ratio is too low, so you have to pedal a lot when riding around town. So I asked the local Ogura Cycle Co. to replace the chainring and set the gear ratio to that of a mamachari (Japanese women's bicycle), which worked really well. It's now extremely easy to use for traveling around the neighborhood. For customers who want a fully equipped BMX that can also be used for riding around town.
