I hate skateboarders who keep riding even though they cause trouble for passersby, but I like Mark Gonzales, who, despite being a grown man, seems to enjoy jumping and falling on his skateboard or bike.
I've always loved the little Triumph bike he rides on while carrying his skateboard; it's not a mini-velo, a Showa-era junior sports bike with a shifter, or a kids'-sized beach cruiser , and of course it would be boring to look for the same Triumph.
Even after searching using various keywords, I couldn't find anything that really suited me, and I couldn't find anything in town either. But time passed, and just the other day, I finally found something that I thought was perfect.
It's a junior-sized National with rod brakes, and what's great is that it was originally red but has been painted black. The sticker on the mudguard has the National "N mark" on it, so it probably dates to the 1970s or 1980s.
