Jumbo and Kerr jars

I haven't sold any of the Mason's Patent mason jars I uploaded a while ago, but I've decided not to give up and have uploaded two small jars.

Jumbo Peanut Butter Jar 10.5oz

This is the jar used to sell "JUMBO" brand peanut butter. While Skippy is the most famous peanut butter, JUMBO has an even longer history, having been founded in 1898. The design of this jar is very interesting, with an elephant logo and embossed diagonal lines covering almost the entire surface. The key is to get people to pick it up on supermarket shelves, so it's designed in a different way to home storage jars.

The capacity is approximately 280ml. The original lid was damaged, but we have provided a practical replacement, so you can use it to store coffee beans, tea leaves, nuts, sweets, etc.

Kerr Self Sealing Mason Jar 16oz 1920's

Kerr, which is still surviving today as a sister brand of Ball, has made a significant contribution to the mason jar industry, including developing innovative lids. This article features mason jars from the 1920s, when Kerr first began manufacturing them in-house. While the quality of Kerr jars from this period was unstable, they are often noticeably wrinkled and distorted, making them irresistible for glass lovers. They also fluoresce under ultraviolet light, making them a truly fascinating sight.

Unfortunately, there are some stains that cannot be removed, but the lid is a genuine Kerr product and is in excellent condition with no significant rust. I hope you will enjoy using this one as well.
