We will be closed on Tuesday, October 22nd and Wednesday, October 23rd this week, so please be careful.
Today I'd like to introduce two items from North America.

This Inuit artwork features a square-cut soapstone tile carved with ice fishing scenes. It was originally a pen stand, but the pen socket was about to come off, so we removed it and cleaned off the tape residue. You can also use it by reattaching the pen socket. It would also be interesting to use it as a place to store accessories.

It has tiny whiskers, so it's probably a weasel or an otter. It's a soapstone ornament. I thought it might be Inuit art, but there are some marks that look like a carving mistake, so I'm not sure. But I absolutely love that kind of incomprehensibility. It's an anonymous piece of art.
