We are introducing two German sewing machine lamps from the 1930s and 1940s.
These lamps, which are hard to find even after searching, are simple and functional, and no doubt influenced by the Bauhaus movement. They are stripped of all unnecessary elements, yet still look cool and are of high quality.
This is a small German-made HÄRTA lamp that came with a sewing machine. It appears to be from the 1930s and is marked with the "DRGM" utility model registration mark. It is likely made of Bakelite.
You can either secure it with a clamp or hang it from an arm.

This is a sewing machine lamp from Baer & Rempel, a historic German sewing machine manufacturer. It has a simple arm with a clamp, so you can attach it to a machine stand or hang it from the wall.
This manufacturer's sewing machines have been pale green since the 1950s, so we suspect this item dates back to before the 1940s.
