The line between necessary and unnecessary

This weekend we will be open on Saturday, June 8th, and closed on Sunday, June 9th. Please be careful.

The color, shape, texture, packaging, etc. are things that are completely unnecessary for this lifestyle, but that I think are nice.

Avant-garde 18-volume set
We have just received a large collection of "Zen'ei," the official journal of the Japanese Communist Party. It contains 18 volumes published between 1962 and 1964. The contents include examinations of political issues and essays. We believe these volumes will be useful as a source of information from that time.

square plate
Even an ordinary Showa-era plate can be charming when it has been used to this extent. It can be used to hold small snacks, or as an accessory or pen tray.

acrylic ball
It's an acrylic ball that appears to be some kind of commemorative trophy. It has quite a few scratches, but I can't find any other objects like this.

1970s film
This colorful and well-designed film from the 1970s comes in five different colors. Perfect for small spaces like windowsills and shelves. It would also look beautiful if you put them all together in a bottle.
