We have received a large shipment of square stools that were used in art and science labs in schools.
The reason there is a board on one side of the chair is so that it can be laid on its side and used as a workbench, and as such, you can see the marks of a saw blade.
There are some scratches and pen marks, but all the caps on the legs are still there, so it's very practical. The chair is made of hard and durable oak or ash, so it's safe for men to sit on.
