Today I'd like to introduce you to a small light that came with a Brother sewing machine.
Before the war, Singer had a monopoly on the Japanese sewing machine market, but Brother developed its own sewing machine in 1932. I have no doubt that they thoroughly disassembled and studied Singer sewing machines, which required machines to process the parts, so I imagine that behind the development of sewing machines they must have struggled to manufacture and develop machine tools.

So it was only natural that accessories for sewing machines were modeled after Singer products, and the small light I'm introducing today is quite similar in shape to a Singer. The bulb is also a B15, which is common in overseas products.

It was probably manufactured from the post-war period until around 1960. I think the size of the bulb changed after that. It's in very good condition, and although there are some small scratches, the shade still retains its shine. It can be used as a table lamp, or it looks cute hanging from a wall.
