Well, following on from yesterday, I'm going to show you some old British tableware. Today I'll be showing you some mugs.
There are four items uploaded, and although we are unable to determine their exact ages, three of them are likely from the 1930s or earlier. The shape and texture of the materials are excellent, and they are in excellent condition for practical use.
The two mugs in the back, the white and green lined ones, have a distinctive shape, but they are similar to American mugs ( for example, this one ). I suspect that American manufacturers probably used these as inspiration when they started manufacturing them, but mugs with these shapes don't exist today, so it was fun to look at them and I learned a lot.
