A landscape captured by an amateur photographer

Not long ago, I saw a cardboard box full of black-and-white photographs lined up at a market where I source my supplies. I have no interest in commemorative photos of people I don't know, but inside this box were a ton of snapshots. They looked pretty good at first glance, so I managed to win a bid and brought them home, where I looked through them one by one. I was fascinated. As I looked at each one, sometimes enlarging it with a magnifying glass, I realized that this person was waiting for a certain moment to press the shutter. The moment the girl spoke to the boy, the moment the store clerk handed over the change, the moment he struck a match and lit a cigarette, the moment his hair fluttered in the wind, the moment the woman slightly lifted the edge of her glasses.

The photos are not only of decisive moments, but also of cityscapes, and I couldn't stop flipping through the photos while smiling alone in the empty shop. Normally, I think that our role is to pass on antiques to their next users, but I thought it would be good if many people could see and enjoy these photos. With that thought in mind, I created this account, and this is my final announcement for the year. Please take a look.

A while ago, I came across a cardboard box full of black-and-white photographs at a market where I source goods. I have no interest in commemorative photos of people I don't know, but this box contained a huge number of snapshots. They looked pretty good at first glance, so I managed to win them over at auction, brought them home, and looked through them one by one. I was fascinated. Looking at each one, sometimes magnifying them with a magnifying glass, I realized that each photographer was waiting for a certain moment to press the shutter. The moment a girl spoke to a boy, the moment a store clerk handed over change, the moment a match was struck and a cigarette lit, the moment a woman's hair fluttered in the wind, the moment a woman lifted the edge of her glasses. The photos weren't just of decisive moments; many were of cityscapes, too. I couldn't stop flipping through the photos, smiling alone in my empty shop. While I usually believe that it's my job to pass on antiques to their next owners, I thought it would be good for many people to see and enjoy these photos.
