These Ghanaian Akuaba dolls are made to pray for safe childbirth and fertility. They have large heads, short arms, and are decorated with seashells. We have four of them in stock, and each one has a different wood color and facial expression, so please take your time to compare them.
Aquaba Doll
The doll has a serious expression and is posing like a Comaneci. It has a charm that is similar to the unique Buddha statues featured in "Beloved Buddhas of Michinoku." I imagine it is from the Philippines or Indonesia, but details, including its age, are unknown.
